Here are the kids heading to their first day of preschool. It has gone pretty well, and it seems like the teachers are experienced and sensitive. However, it is going to be very intense for the kids in an entirely non-English environment.

In case you think I spelled “International” wrong in the title, look closely at the school sign. Don’t be fooled into thinking there are other western kids at the school by looking at the sign, either. Signs can be misleading!

It seems like if this school works out it will be more than an “exception” than an “assumption” with regard to how other western families have worked out things. So, we are praying for a positive situation but understand it may not turn out.
