Computer hacker

Mr. Rikshaw does a multitude of different things as the “computer doctor” here, but I think it’s when he can use things like screwdrivers and drills and saws that he has the most fun. Since replacement parts and other resources are often much harder to get here, it’s not unusual to find him piecing something together out of the pile of dead computers in our storage room. Here are a couple of pictures of Mr. Rikshaw at work recently. Diagnosing a problem:


In this case, he replaced the dead monitor on a working laptop with a working monitor on a dead laptop. Since the dimensions weren’t quite the same, though, he had to make some custom modifications with his saw and drill.
