Our neighbor had a baby three days ago.  Here, when a woman has a baby, she is not allowed to do any work, inside or outside, for 40 days.  She is only supposed to stay home and rest.  (Pretty good idea, wouldn’t you say?)  My neighbor’s mother is staying with her right now to help out.  Here Amana is in her dreamworld, holding the new baby girl, while Amana’s five-year-old friend/the baby’s sister stays close.
